What You Will Need To Turn Your Tree Into A Winter Wonderland

  1. A Christmas Tree Of Your Choosing

  2. Artificial Snow In A Can

  3. Spray Adhesive To make sure the snow spray doesn't come off

  4. Towel or Cloth to put under the tree

  5. Spray Glitter or Fine Glitter (Optional)

Step 1: Getting your Tree Ready to add artificial snow

Make sure you Have All of the supplies I have listed above together. I highly recommend doing this project outdoors and wearing some old clothes due to the mess you can make during this process and also the fumes from the spray adhesive. Once you are outside make sure you have all of the supplies needed and you get your tree set up, make sure your branches are fluffed, and your tree is set up correctly and don't forget to wrap A towel or cloth around the base to keep it protected.

Step 2: Spraying The adhesive Spray onto your Christmas tree

once you have done everything in step 1 you can begin by spraying the adhesive onto the Christmas tree. start from the bottom branches of the tree and work your way up making sure to spray an even layer all over the tree

Step 3: Adding Snow Spray To Your Christmas Tree

Immediately after spraying the adhesive you can go ahead and begin spraying the snow in a can evenly onto each section of the tree starting on the bottom branch of the tree and working your way to the top. Remember to start out by spraying A light layer evenly onto the tree and then adding more of the snow in a can as needed. The more snow spray you add the longer it will take to dry. Be sure to spray the snow spray in short bursts and shake off any excess snow.

Step 4: Adding Glitter To Your Christmas Tree (Optional)

If You Want To Add Glitter to your tree you can use spray glitter or fine glitter which I have listed in the supplies list above. If you choose the spray glitter you can start at the bottom branch and spray it evenly onto each branch. For my tree, I chose to use the fine glitter which worked just as great! If you choose to use fine glitter I recommend just sprinkling it onto the tree adding more as needed. Remember to start out with a light coating and then continue to add a little more so you are not overdoing it.

Step 5: Spraying A little more Adhesive

Spray one more light coating of adhesive just to ensure that everything sticks well especially if you are using fine powdered glitter.

Step 6: Letting Your Christmas Tree Dry

Once you are done you need to let your tree dry before bringing it inside. Depending on how much snow spray you use will depend on how long it's going to take to dry. If you used a light or light to medium coating of snow spray I would give it A couple of hours. If you decided you wanted A heavy coating of snow you may want to let it dry overnight.

Once you are done you can officially decorate your tree with your lights, ornaments, and tree topper. I loved the way our Christmas tree turned out and the cost was way cheaper than buying a snow-flocked Christmas tree.
